  • Packing List
Packing for camp marks the start of your camper’s journey toward independence. Parents should review our detailed Packing List, which outlines everything needed for a great camp experience. Remember that evenings at camp can get chilly, so be sure to bring warm layers and a sleeping bag rated for 40 degrees or lower to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep! • What If I Don't Know Anyone?
No worries! Camp GROW is the perfect place to make new friends, as many campers arrive without knowing anyone else. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to ensuring every camper feels welcome and part of the group. Even if you come with friends, you'll have the opportunity to build lasting friendships with others throughout your time at camp.
  • What if I am Unable to Attend my Scheduled Session?
If you’re unable to attend camp, please notify the Camp Director as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. We understand that unexpected situations arise and will do our best to accommodate you.
  • How Much Money Should My Camper Bring?
The answer is ZERO! Campers are not allowed to bring money to camp. We do not have a “snack shack” or “canteen” like some other camps. While we do have a camp store called the Trading Post, campers can only use credits placed in their account by their parents. For campers traveling by air, any money they bring will be securely stored during their time at camp and can be used to purchase items at the store on the last day, provided they have parental permission.
  • Do You Celebrate Birthdays At Camp?
We love celebrating birthdays at camp! Your child’s special day will be celebrated with the "Order of the Oar" ceremony, followed by a lively rendition of "Happy Birthday" sung by the entire camp during dinner, and a special treat for the birthday child and their cabin! To arrange a birthday celebration, please contact the camp office by phone or email at least two weeks before your camper’s arrival.
  • Are There Area Attractions For Families?
Since 2009, Camp GROW has been proud to be recognized as a premier "Destination Camp." Each season, we are excited to welcome campers and families from across the country and around the world. If you're visiting from out of town and planning to spend time in Western Wyoming, we’ve got you covered! Whether you're looking for a great restaurant, a comfortable place to stay, or unique local attractions, Camp GROW can help make your visit to Pinedale, WY, and the surrounding area truly memorable. Click the link below to explore Camp GROW’s official recommendations. Of course, feel free to reach out to us anytime—we’re happy to assist and point you toward some of Western Wyoming’s best-kept secrets. Big Sandy Lodge A historical outfitting lodge with impressive views and outdoor activities in abundance. Warm, cozy cabins, delicious meals, and backcountry journeys on horseback all make this the place to get away and enjoy the solitude of the wilderness. Grand Teton National Park Soaring over a landscape rich with wildlife, pristine lakes, and majestic alpine vistas, the Teton Range stands as a testament to generations of stewards. For over 11,000 years, communities have thrived in the valley known as Jackson Hole, turning these mountains into more than just peaks—they embody imagination and enduring human connection. Yellowstone National Park On March 1, 1872, Yellowstone became the first national park for all to enjoy the unique hydrothermal and geologic features. Within Yellowstone's 2.2 million acres, visitors have unparalleled opportunities to observe wildlife in an intact ecosystem, explore geothermal areas that contain about half the world’s active geysers, and view geologic wonders like the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.
  • Are there any discounts or financial assistance options available for families with multiple children or financial constraints?
We understand that every family’s situation is unique, and we strive to make our Summer Camp accessible to all. We offer sibling discounts and financial assistance programs to support families with multiple children or financial constraints. Please reach out to our team for more information on available options.
  • I tried to register my camper for a session marked as "Full" or "Waitlist." What does that mean, and what are my options?
If a camp session is marked as "full," it means all camper spots have been reserved. If a session is waitlisted, you can still complete the waitlist form as though you are registering your child. However, this does not mean your child is officially registered. If a spot becomes available, we will notify those on the waitlist via email, offering the spot in the order registrations were received, before opening it up to the general public.
  • My Camper Wants To Be In The Same Cabin As Their Friend. Is This Possible?
The camp application form has a section where you can indicate a cabin/groupmate request. While we can't guarantee that all requests will be honored, we do our best to pair requested friends together, as long as they are close in age and attending the same session. If you didn't include a cabinmate request on the initial registration, please reach out to the office with your request before May 1.
  • Can I Donate To Support Another Camper Attending?
Yes! Thank you for considering partnering with us to help reduce the barriers preventing a child from attending camp. Your generous donations directly support the operation of our camps and provide opportunities for children who might not otherwise be able to attend. Donations can be made online through our website, in person, by calling our office, or by mailing a check. To donate online, click here. The cost of a week of camp is approximately $1200 per camper.
  • What Ages Does Camp Serve?
Our Summer Camp is tailored for children aged 8-17 from all over the United States. We’ve curated an array of activities to cater to this age group, ensuring they have an enriching and age-appropriate experience.
